eBay Now Requires Product Identifiers – Are you ready?

Eduardo Vaisman / September 10, 2017

The deadline is here! As of September 18th, your eBay listings will not automatically renew without valid brand, manufacturer part number (MPN), and global trade item number (GTIN) product identifiers. Beginning in August, eBay stopped allowing you to re-list products missing these identifiers. Going forward, all new and existing listings must be correctly categorized and contain valid product identifiers. Sigmento offers a simple, automated solution to this potential crisis for eBay sellers.

Sigmento’s product information as a service platform enriches your products with eBay categories and identifiers and outputs in a format ready for upload. For example, if all you have is a Brand and an MPN, our platform will correctly categorize it and enrich with everything you need for a successful listing. This includes generating a unique title that maximizes SEO and prioritized attributes relevant to the item. We also provide images and descriptions so you can quickly create a perfect product page.

Marketplace requirements change all the time.
